This policy explains cancellation and refund handling for Rayvia Tour and Travel bookings. Final refund eligibility depends on service type, supplier rules, season, payment gateway deductions, GST treatment, and the timing of cancellation.

Hotel and Houseboat Bookings

Hotel, houseboat, homestay, villa, and resort cancellations depend on property rules, season, room category, meal plan, and check-in date. Peak-season, festival, group, and non-refundable bookings may attract higher charges or no refund. No-show, late arrival without notice, or early checkout is normally non-refundable for the unused portion.

Car and Taxi Bookings

Car cancellations depend on pickup time, route, vehicle assignment, driver dispatch, permits, tolls, parking, and local union rules. If a driver or vehicle has already been assigned or dispatched, cancellation charges may apply. No-show at pickup point can be treated as non-refundable.

Tour Package Bookings

Tour package cancellation depends on hotels, cars, activities, guides, permits, and third-party supplier rules included in the package. Amounts already committed to hotels, transporters, activity operators, permits, or non-refundable suppliers may be deducted before refund.

Custom Packages

Custom itinerary refunds are calculated component-wise across hotels, cars, activities, meals, permits, and service charges. Changes to destination sequence, dates, or passenger count may require repricing.

Weather and Route Disruption

Kashmir travel can be affected by snowfall, landslides, road closure, weather, government directions, security restrictions, or local conditions. Rayvia will try to adjust the itinerary where possible, but additional costs or supplier deductions may apply.

Refund Method and Time

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method or another agreed method after supplier reconciliation. Bank, payment gateway, and WooCommerce processing timelines may vary.

Send your booking details, customer name, phone number, service name, travel date, and reason for cancellation to Rayvia support.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All Rayvia bookings including hotel, tour, car, driver, activity, and package services follow the same admin-approved cancellation workflow.

  • Cancellation or modification is a request only. Rayvia admin approval is mandatory before any booking is cancelled, modified, inventory released, or refund processed.
  • GST/tax amount is non-refundable once payment is captured.
  • Rayvia commission, service fee, gateway/bank charges, and supplier protection charges are non-refundable.
  • Eligible refund is calculated after deducting GST/tax and Rayvia commission/service charges from the paid amount. Final refund can be lower if supplier/hotel/transport/activity partner has already charged a non-refundable cost.
  • Refund release time is 15 to 20 working days after Rayvia admin approval and bank/payment-gateway confirmation.
  • No-show, already started travel/service, false booking details, or policy violation can be treated as non-refundable.
  • Vendor or customer cannot directly cancel a booking. Only Rayvia admin can approve cancellation/refund after verification.

Refund calculation: Paid amount minus GST/tax minus Rayvia commission/service fee. Refund release time is 15 to 20 working days after Rayvia admin approval.
